@Cruiseshipfan more like “United States and Hawaii”. I understand why they thought to include it as a separate place. Since it’s not part of the same land mass many people would assume that the Disney Adventures tour wouldn’t head over to Tasmania. They are simply clarifying that Tasmania is included.

@sarahelizabethxx3 There were actual plans drawn up for a Disneyland Australia. I even saw artist’s renderings of what it would look like. But with a population of only 22.783.604 Disney felt that wouldn’t be big enough for large attendance every year. So they went with the one billion plus population of China. Shanghai Disneyland begins construction in 2013.
